Here are some pictures of Bonnie and Nick just after they met. It went pretty well. We took them both off of the property and had a "chance" meeting. They did pretty well, Bonnie wanted to just start playing and Nick wanted to set up the pecking order. In five mintues we were all walking together.
After we brought them home we let Nick rest up from the walk and then put them in the same pen together. Of course Bonnie wanted to play and Nick wanted to check out her pen. He walked around and ignored Bonnie for about fifteen minutes. Bonnie jumped and bounced around the whole time. Nick took control of the inside of the dog house, and when Bonnie came up he barked at her one time, she backed up and it was then play time. They played for five mintues or so and then Nick stopped and started ignoring Bonnie again. Nick must not have had a lot of running time as he gets tired pretty quickly. After a rest and some water it was on again with another five minutes of playing chase. At that point I felt comfortable enough to go grab the camera and take a few shots. I will get some action shots later.
